Q: Will you buy my silver or diamonds?
A: For this type of fundraiser to be the most effective, we have set it up to only buy unwanted gold.
Q: How many donors need to participate for you to commit to come to an event for my nonprofit?
A: There is a big commitment of travel, set up, time away from family, etc to put on an event, thus, we do ask that there is commitment of no less than 50 donors bringing in their gold. Should your nonprofit be smaller than that, we recommend you combine efforts with a neighboring group to hold an event.
Q: How much will you pay me for my unwanted gold?
A: There are many factors to consider here, including the quality (10, 14, 18 carat) of your gold, the weight, and also what the index is priced at around the time of the event. We deal with one of the top refineries in the country (23 facilities in USA and United Kingdom), thus, we get top dollar from them and are able to pass those great margins along to you, our customer.
Q: Will you quote me an offer prior to me having to sell my gold to you?
A: Absolutely! We want every single person to know up front exactly what their gold is worth to us and you will never be put in a position where you are pressured to sell. Our integrity and good name will always come first above "making a sale".
Q: Can you remove stones from my jewelry?
A: Yes, we remove stones at no charge, however we do not put the stones back in, so it must be decided in advance that the gold around the stone is no longer wanted/needed.
Q: May I keep the stones?
A: Not normally. Under most situations, if we remove the stones they stay with us, unless you are "right there" and can take them along with you.
Q: May I also turn in gold coins?
A: Yes! Anything gold from coins, necklaces, rings, earrings, pins, etc.
Q: May I invite my friends/neighbors to come with their gold even if they don't donate to this non-profit?
A: Check with your non profit for their answer. Our answer is absolutely yes! The friends you bring will add to the proceeds for the nonprofit, and we as a company will still pay the non profit 10% of our profits on your friends/neighbors sale. So, it is a win win win again!
Q: When does the non profit receive their proceeds from the fundraiser?
A: The nonprofit will get paid the portion from it's donors gold right there on the spot (min. of 10% of the proceeds being paid to the member goes to the non profit the day of the event). The additional pay out of 10% of the profits from our company will be sent to the non profit within 5 business days of the event's closing.
Q: Why is now such a good time to get rid of my unwanted jewelry?
A: Gold is paying out at a very high premium currently, there is no guarantee how long this great situation will last. Also, most folks really need extra liquidity right now and to be able to help your organization during these rough economic times will be greatly appreciated as well.
